“Such sweet sorrow”-Shakespeare. The story is one of lost love due to a cruel fate. But the version of this amazing song by one of my favorite bands of all time Fairport Convention makes it delicious. I almost posted versions by Richard Thompson, Loreena McKennitt, and Sinead O’Connor…all of which would have been great. But since the sad death of Sandy Denny, somehow this version seems fitting.
